As with passing any bill, persuasion is needed. Some bills require more persuasion than others, so that is why the Wisconsin Word media delegates are excited to announce the new advocacy program starting this year. With this new program, legislative delegates will be able to apply for an article written or podcast content created in support of their bill and shared statewide. To be considered for an article of support, legislative delegates must submit a copy of their bill to the media delegates, who will then select their favorite bills to then support. If chosen, the bill author and assigned media delegate will discuss how and why their bill should pass and work on an article endorsing the bill. These articles would then be published on the media website or in the Wisconsin Word Podcast and shared throughout the state.
