Are you looking for a fun way to spend your night? Well, not only are the evening activities something (mandatory) to do, but you also get to communicate and interact with other delegates as well. Tonight, the evening activities include: Just Dance, games, a movie, and a devotional for delegates to reflect on their experiences in YIG. Any of these options allow delegates to get out of their rooms and just have fun with their current friends, and possibly new ones.
Firstly, Just Dance, games, and the movie all take place at 9:30 in the second-floor rooms at the Park Hotel. These options allow delegates to just mess around, and after a long day at the Capitol, it is a great way to end the day. During Just Dance, participating will make the night a lot more fun, but if you would rather sit back, you can watch the others, and talk to your peers. During the games, you can join groups, make friends, and enjoy your nights. The movie is also a great way to wrap up the night. You can relax, watch a movie, and just rewind after the hard work put in all day.
Lastly, the Saturday devotional is a great way to wrap up your final night in Madison. Whether you are a returning delegate, or even a new one, the Saturday devotional allows people to express what they love about Youth in Government, and why it’s a great experience. It allows them to share their experiences and allows seniors to reflect on their last year, and previous years in Youth in Government.
Overall, the evening activities are a great experience, and participation is definitely recommended. The more participation allows for more memories to be made, and more fun to be had in Model Government.
